Launched in 2020 by six pioneering brands—Breitling, Bvlgari, De Bethune, Girard-Perregaux, H. Moser & Cie., and MB&F—this event blossomed into a cornerstone of the watchmaking community. The beauty of Geneva Watch Days lay in its decentralized nature, allowing each Maison to craft its own unique experience across the city, whether in luxurious boutiques or charming hotels. Yet, the heart of it all remained the common pavilion at Rotonde du Mont-Blanc, where more than 100 extraordinary timepieces from 52 participating brands awaited discovery.

This was not just an exhibition; it was a celebration of high horology in a laid-back, festive atmosphere, where simplicity met elegance, and the passion for fine watchmaking shone through. With free access, Geneva Watch Days invited everyone—from seasoned collectors to curious newcomers—to immerse themselves in the world of exceptional timepieces and to connect with the stories behind the brands.

Brands introduced a range of captivating designs, from innovative new models to those honoring tradition. Here are some of the standout pieces that we believe are a must look for any watch enthusiast :

Breitling

Breitling marked its “140 Years of Firsts” with a groundbreaking release: perpetual calendar chronograph movement. To celebrate, the brand introduced limited 140th-anniversary editions of its iconic models — Premier, Navitimer, and Chronomat—all powered by the innovative Caliber B19. This movement offered unmatched precision for an entire century with minimal adjustments and boasted an impressive 96-hour power reserve. We love this watch because it powers through four days straight without needing a single wind.

Favre Leuba

Favre Leuba made a triumphant return, celebrating 287 years of horological mastery. The brand unveiled three new collections, comprising 22 fresh designs, to mark this momentous occasion. The Chief Collection was completely revamped, blending its signature vintage elements with a contemporary twist. The Chief Chronograph, a standout piece, retained the classic ‘70s design, refreshed with a sporty, modern edge, highlighted by its retro-inspired cushion shaped case. It’s such a stand-out piece, one instantly falls in love with it.

Bvlgari

Bvlgari redefined men’s watchmaking with its Octo series, merging tradition with a contemporary vision. Renowned for their expertise in horological acoustics, Bvlgari impressed once again with the Octo Roma Grande Sonnerie Tourbillon and Octo Roma Carillon Tourbillon minute repeater. These timepieces were inspired by the “tritone,” a musical interval that resonated with musicians, drawing creative cues from Lorenzo Viotti, the conductor of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra.

Konstantin Chaykin

Konstantin Chaykin made waves at the Geneva Watch Days 2024 with his latest creation—the ThinKing. At just 1.65 mm thick, it was the slimmest mechanical wristwatch ever made. This marvel was part of the “Wristmons” collection, featuring a joker-inspired dial with “eye” indicators for hours and minutes. ThinKing captured the attention of experts and the press alike, earning accolades from top global publications.

HYT

HYT’s Millésime Edition introduced bold new colors—Purple, Green, and Chocolate—adding a fresh, modern twist to its lineup. Launched in the fall, the T1 Series stood out with its sleek 45mm diameter and vertical grain satin-finished dial. Each hue was enhanced by HYT’s signature fluidic time displays, with vibrant red fluid for the green and chocolate models, and a striking black for the purple. Case options included titanium, DLC titanium, and 5N gold.

Oris

Oris became the Official Timekeeper for France’s Ligue 1 McDonald’s and Ligue 2 BKT, in collaboration with the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP). To celebrate, Oris launched the LFP Limited Edition Divers Sixty-Five, a tribute to the “Les Défenseurs de l’Enfance” football tournament, which supported children and CNAPE-backed charities. The watch featured playful, childlike script, a blue dial symbolizing the UN’s 17th goal, and a stainless steel case back engraved with the tournament’s logo. We appreciate the initiative and their drive for change. Their commitment to both craftsmanship and community truly sets them apart.

Angelus

Angelus introduced the Chronodate Titanium Magnetic Silver edition—a watch where grey reigned supreme. The titanium case and sunray-brushed “Magnetic Silver” dial created a monochromatic masterpiece, accentuated by deep black and a touch of red. This ultra-sporty and refined color scheme drew the eye, holding it in a captivating gaze.

De Bethune

De Bethune’s DB28xs Aérolite was a stunning fusion of art and science. The dial featured a unique guilloché pattern, offset by the geometric lines of Muonionalusta meteorite. This timepiece merged elements from the DB28xs Starry Seas and DB28XP Météorite models, pushing the boundaries of contemporary watchmaking. Encased in a 38.7 mm black matte zirconium case with a blue meteorite dial, it symbolized the union of earth and sky, craftsmanship and innovation.

MB&F

MB&F presented the M.A.D.1S, a sleek evolution of its popular M.A.D.1 model. The “S” signified a slimmer profile, with a case just 15mm thick, housing a new Swiss movement—the La Joux-Perret G101. The streamlined design featured refined lugs and an updated winding rotor. While the case retained its 42mm diameter, the thinner

Czapek & Cie

Czapek & Cie took its Antarctique collection to new heights with the Antarctique Polar Sky and Antarctique S Polar Sky models. These stunning timepieces featured aventurine glass dials, available in 40.5mm and 38.5mm sizes. For those craving extra luxury, the Antarctique Flying Diamonds and Antarctique S Flying Diamonds models came with diamond-set indexes and optional diamond-encrusted cases and bracelets. The Antarctique cut diamonds, with their 24 facets, amplified the dials’ brilliance. Limited to just 99, 77, 8, and 18 pieces. With such limited availability, these extraordinary pieces are sure to disappear quickly !

As Geneva Watch Days 2024 wrapped up, it was clear that the event was more than just a display of fine watches—it was a celebration of passion, creativity, and craftmanship. The timepieces showcased weren’t just marvels of engineering; they were stories waiting to be worn. Serpenti Misteriosi Hight Jewellery Secret Watch

Drawing inspiration from the legacy of the Roman Jeweller of Time, the Serpenti Misterioisi High Jewellery secret watches will take you into the world where luxury knows no bounds. The Serpenti Misteriosi High Jewellery watch in white diamonds is a dazzling testament to Bvlgari’s artistry. It is crafted in pristine white gold and is adorned with 32.91 carat round brilliant cut diamonds.

The other one, the Serpenti Misteriosi High-Jewellery secret watch in black with diamonds is a captivating blend of rose gold and black lacquer, adorned with the artistry of 11.9 carats of navette diamonds. The two pear shaped emeralds glimmer as the serpents hypnotized eyes. And if that’s not enough, the dial is a canvas of pure royalty with an additional 0.28 carats of pave set diamonds. Beneath the breathtaking exterior, a Picolissimo manufactured manual winding micro movement powers this wonder with a 30 hour reserve.

Monete Catene High Jewellery Secret Watches

The enchanting Monete Catene secret watches are a timeless fusion of Bvlgari’s fine artistry and the inspiration from the Gemme Nummarie concept introduced by Nicola Bulgari in the mid 60s. These watches are a captivating embodiment of Bulgari’s craftsmanship, where historical treasures take centre stage, transforming the watch cases into sculptural marvels. Crafted from luxurious gold and adorned with the sparkle of diamonds, these high jewellery timepieces gracefully drape around the wrist. The gorgeous Monete Catene High Jewelry Secret Watch is crafted with lustrous rose gold and is set with dazzling diamonds. The watch conceals a mesmerising surprise. The case cover is set with a silver denarius coin featuring emperor Caracalla who reigned from 198-217 AD.

The regal Monete Catene Dual Time High Jewelry Secret Watch is bathed in rose gold, yellow gold and white gold and is also set with baguette cut diamonds and brilliant cut diamonds! A watch made for the queen, the case features a coin depicting the emperor Septimius Severus (193-211 AD) and his spouse Julia Domna (193-217 AD). Two emerald cabochons serve as pushers to open the case and reveal the dial. These watches are powered by the “Piccolissimo” Manufacture mechanical micro-movement.

Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 38 Mintnight

A poetic timepiece that sings the songs of the moon in the night sky as viewed from the earth. The Perpetual Moon 38 Mintnight is adorned gracefully with shimmering diamonds, mother-of-pearl and ruthenium crystals. The dial comprises ruthenium crystals and mother-of-pearl marquetry in a gentle graduation which showcases the night in shades of mint green, turquoise, teal and sky blue. These pleasant shades of blue are complemented by the stunning diamonds that sparkle on the bezel, horns and hour-markers. The sky above the blue, mint-green and turquoise hills features the earth’s natural satellite and hand painted stars. The timepiece showcases a grand lunar disc, gracefully adorning a vast window spanning from 10 to 2 o’clock, meticulously carved to mirror the Earth’s celestial companion, with all its enchanting phases on display.

Oris Artelier

A classy and fine piece with a smooth and round 38mm stainless steel case has been meticulously designed keeping in mind comfort and practicality. The sleek design of the watch seamlessly connects lugs to a luxurious leather strap. The hands, gently tapered and lit with a delicate lume, dance on the dial’s outer edge, offering legibility without intrusion. Speaking of the dial, you have two enchanting options: a deep black or a mature forest green. Inside the Artelier resides a Swiss Made mechanical marvel, the automatic calibre Oris 733, powered by the iconic Red Rotor, visible through a transparent case back.

Grand Seiko – Masterpiece Collection Spring Drive 8-Day Jewellery Watch: SBGD213

This watch comes with Diamonds, blue sapphires, and Platinum 950 is inspired by the white lion.  The powerful profile of the lion has been an enduring symbol of Grand Seiko ever since the first Grand Seiko introduced in 1960, when a gold medallion depicting a lion graced the case back. The strength and power of the white lion is brought to life through the jeweller’s art, graced by blue sapphires in honour of Grand Seiko’s signature colour. This piece combines the precision of Spring Drive, high legibility through carefully placed gems, and exquisite artistry and craftsmanship.

The center of the dial is mother-of-pearl in Grand Seiko’s signature blue. The case, bezel and dial have 266 diamonds and 27 blue sapphires, all set by hand.  The lugs speak to the power of the lion. Diamonds are embedded on the case and baguette-cut diamonds adorn the bezel. The diamonds are set to create a single, flat surface. A single brilliant-cut blue sapphire is set into the crown. The watch comes with a leather strap and has a three-fold clasp with push-button release. It is a limited edition with just eight pieces.

La Panthére de Cartier

Cartier’s iconic panther fiercely magnetizes this jewellery watch. This La Panthère model is a bold, graphic, and sculptural watch which depicts the panther closing its jaws on a black lacquered dial. This piece in white gold with diamond pave displays a fierce gaze with emerald eyes. Each element in the watch, the panther’s nose, cheeks, eyes or pointed ears are designed in three dimensions.

The head seamlessly connects to an integrated bracelet. Equipped with an ingenious system and no visible hinges, it hugs the wearer as close to the wrist as possible, magnetically and seamlessly. Available in two variants attired in a body of yellow gold, rose gold or white gold with a diamond pave model. The yellow gold or rose gold variant is speckled with black lacquer with tsavorite eyes. Recalling the Art Deco origins of the Reverso, the reverse side of the pink gold case is set with white diamonds and black onyx in an intricate pattern. Vertical rows of diamonds wrap around the convex sides of the case and frame the dial. The centre of the dial is set with white diamonds. Each of the tiny links that form the supple chain have been set with diamonds.

Patek Philippe Calatrava Reference 4997/200R

Designed for women, the new Calatrava self-winding watch is a reinterpretation of a great classic. It catches the eye with a rose-gold case and a dial and strap decked out in purple.

The dial, embossed with a pattern of concentric waves, is coated with more than fifty layers of translucent lacquer, creating a mesmerizing sense of depth. The watch case is adorned with 76 diamonds set on the bezel and houses the caliber 240 ultra-thin self-winding movement.
The shade of the dial is echoed by the purple leather strap with satinated finish and rose gold prong buckle.

VAN CLEEF & ARPELS – LUDO SECRET WATCH

Inspired by the Ludo bracelet, the Ludo Secret watch is from the high jewellery collection of Van Cleef & Arpels. 

Created in 1934, this aesthetic watch was named after the nickname of Louis Arpels, one of the Brand’s founding members. Shaped like a belt – it was the fashion accessory for any daring woman in the 1930s.

This watch comes in Rose gold with minutely set pink sapphires. The bracelet is made of flexible brick-pattern meshwork reminiscent of a belt. The rose gold mesh links are assembled by hand. The watch comes with guilloché white mother-of-pearl dial. The guilloché white mother-of-pearl dial is visible thanks to a simultaneous press of the two motifs in pink sapphires.

JAEGER-LECOULTRE – THE REVERSO SECRET NECKLACE

This piece reinterprets the Reverso’s Art Deco origins. A union of jewellery arts, rare handcrafts and fine watchmaking is what makes the piece a must have. With the Reverso Secret Necklace, Jaeger-LeCoultre takes the creative legacy to a new level. One could say that it is a jewel that Tells Time.

The Reverso Secret Necklace transforms into a graceful feminine sautoir, or long necklace. The cordonnet, the original black textile bracelet (literal translation: fine or small cord) seen on Reverso models of the 1930s has been reimagined as a supple chain of intricate diamond-set links and polished onyx beads from which the Reverso is suspended. Two pendants of polished onyx charms add panache to this new way of wearing the time.

Recalling the Art Deco origins of the Reverso, the reverse side of the pink gold case is set with white diamonds and black onyx in an intricate pattern. Vertical rows of diamonds wrap around the convex sides of the case and frame the dial. The centre of the dial is set with white diamonds. Each of the tiny links that form the supple chain have been set with diamonds.

ROLEX Oyster Perpetual DAY-DATE 36

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36 watch brings an unexpected and unique creative twist by displaying a new emotion each day. The watch brings a spontaneous element into the wearers’ daily life while giving them a way of reading time with their changing mood.The day window at 12 o’clock presents a calendar of inspirational words such as Happy’, ‘Eternity’, ‘Gratitude’, ‘Peace’, ‘Faith’, ‘Love’ and ‘Hope’.  While the date window displays a repertoire of emotions expressed in 31 Emojis designed especially for this model. 

The dial features a colourful motif suggesting the idea that Life is a Puzzle that we put together piece by piece and day by day. This intricate dial works with an array of colours including Turquoise Blue, Red, Fuchsia, Orange, Green and Yellow pieces that fit together on a single background, each representing one of the key moments in life. The hours are marked by 10 baguette-cut sapphires in six different hues set according to the main colour of the dial. Turquoise Blue on the 18 ct yellow gold and 18 ct white gold versions, orange on the watch in 18 ct Everose gold.

What is unique this year is that April 1st and 2nd is open for visitors to come and marvel at the finest wrist arts!

Watchmaking is a passionate world, steeped in history and exploring it is a sensory experience. For the first time, Watches and Wonders will be taking over the center of Geneva to share this passion with everyone. With exhibitions planned in the watch boutiques, guided visits, and conferences. An evening of festivities on Thursday 30 March, with street artists, bands, and a concert from an electro star is also planned.
